Women’s Care Florida is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife with special interest in gyn to join an amazing team of Physicians and Nurse practitioners at St. Petersburg Obstetrics and Gynecology in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Position: Certified Nurse Midwife
The practice of St. Petersburg OBGYN currently has 7 providers and 2 offices. The offices are located within minutes of the beautiful downtown St. Petersburg area and a short drive to the gorgeous beaches, sporting events, arts, and theatres.
The responsibilities of the Certified Nurse Midwife include prenatal, postpartum, family planning, contraception, health promotion, preventive health screenings, routine obstetrics and gynecological services.
Graduation from an academic nurse-midwifery program accredited by the American College of Nurse-Midwives Division of Accreditation.
Certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board and certificate maintenance.
Licensure by the state of Florida as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the nurse midwifery category as outlined in Florida statute 464, The Nurse Practice Act, and Florida Administrative Code, and Chapter 64B9, rules of the Board of Nursing
Two plus years of Women’s Health Care Midwife experience preferred, however new graduates will be considered with Women's Health RN background.
Additional Salary Information: Commensurate with experience
