Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is accepting applications for a full-time Certified Nurse-Midwife position, to work with 3 other midwives. The successful candidate will provide patient care and teaching while working with medical students, residents and attending physicians in clinic and in Labor and Delivery at University Hospital. This position is for day and night shifts currently available. We have a multicultural patient population and the ability to speak Spanish is helpful. San Antonio is on the edge of the Texas Hill Country where the climate is ideal, cost of living is reasonable and the housing is very affordable. Experienced midwife with desire to work in an academic setting. Candidates must have an advanced practice nursing degree in midwifery with 3-5 years of experience. Must have or be eligible for Texas Nursing License.
