Women's Health Hospitalists, an exciting new subsidiary of Women’s Care Florida is seeking experienced Certified Nurse Midwives with at least 3+ years of experience to join our prestigious group in our PRN float pool to assist with PRN coverage in Lakeland, Oviedo, and Orlando. The CNM Hospitalist will manage labor and delivery of private patients of Women's Care Florida as well as unassigned patients with coverage to the ER. This opportunity is part-time as needed to cover vacations and gaps in the schedule throughout the year.
The Hospitals are all in a highly desirable area of Orlando with reasonable home prices, great public and private school systems, professional sports teams, easy access to all of Disney theme parks and the endless entertainment that Orlando has to offer.
Graduation from an academic nurse-midwifery program accredited by the American College of Nurse-Midwives Division of Accreditation.
Certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board and certificate maintenance.
Licensure by the state of Florida as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the nurse midwifery category as outlined in Florida statute 464, The Nurse Practice Act, and Florida Administrative Code, and Chapter 64B9, rules of the Board of Nursing
Ability to work with diverse cultures, with energy, initiative and self-assertiveness.
Maintain current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
