Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
2018 - Time for you to consider a full-time position at Signature OB/GYN!
We are looking for a CNM to join our current group of six CNMs in our 30 year-old full-scope midwifery practice. With our tight-knit cadre of experienced midwives, with supportive back-up from renown OB/GYNs in our well-established practice, and with the benefits and security of our Johns Hopkins affiliation, we have a package that can't be beat! The Signature Midwives have delivered over 15,000 babies at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, MD and are on our second generation of women served by our midwifery group.
The diverse patient population is primarily low-risk women who've opted for our care in an autonomous true 24/7 midwifery practice. Our primary office in the Medical Pavilion near the hospital is a busy suite with lots of opportunity to use your OB/GYN skills. The smaller satellite office in Eldersburg serves patients from Carroll County. Both offices have onsite sonography and MDs for consultation; all deliveries are at HCGH. The hospital is accredited as "Baby-Friendly" a Hopkins-owned community facility with a level 3 nursery. We are working on implementation of nitrous oxide anesthesia, among other innovations.
You will be sharing call in 24 hour shifts with 6 CNMs and will not be working in the office when scheduled in L&D, nor post call.
The Hopkins-based compensation package includes competitive salary and time off (PTO), a CME/licensure allocation, malpractice and a productivity bonus. Additionally Hopkins provides excellent benefits including healthcare, disability and life insurance, 403B retirement and tuition reimbursement for you or your college-bound children.
Please email your resume and cover letter to me, Jackie Notes CNM, Lead Midwife: firstname.lastname@example.org.
