This position is clinically-based at the faculty rank of Instructor in the non-tenure Clinical Practice Track within the College of Nursing. UNM is a faculty midwifery practice consisting of 19 CNMs.Faculty Practice Description: UNM works collaboratively within the OB/GYN department and offers women and families many services including individualized care, group prenatal classes, childbirth education, lactation services, mental health services, and referrals to specialty care. UNM provides full-scope midwifery care to women at the Anschutz Medical Campus and inpatient care to the Metro Community Provider’s Network (MCPN) clinic patients. UNM believes that women benefit from personalized and comprehensive care that focuses on the patient while including the family in the plan of care. We serve women from many countries and strive to offer culturally appropriate care. This position is a faculty appointment and involvement in the College of Nursing is expected.
