We are seeking a full-time certified Midwife to join our exciting team of Physicians and Midwives in the Brandon, FL. The division provides a full range of women's health care services including female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery and general obstetrics and gynecology.
The responsibilities of the Certified Midwife include prenatal, postpartum, family planning, contraception, health promotion, preventive health screenings, routine obstetrics and gynecological services and biofeedback therapy. The office consists of 10 physicians and 2 Advanced Care Practitioners.
Graduate from an accredited RN program; L&D experience required
Graduate from a Nurse-Midwifery program
Certified by the American College of Nurse Mid-Wife, Current Florida ARNP license
Ability to work with diverse cultures, with energy, initiative and self-assertiveness
Maintain current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
ACNM Certification required
