We are currently recruiting a faculty member to teach and practice in the midwifery specialty.
The incoming faculty will teach and maintain an active clinical practice, taking advantage of our resource allocation plan (percentage of time for teaching & practice is individually determined). The combination of teaching & practice is a fundamental component of our educational mission. Responsibilities include classroom and simulation teaching, mentoring & advising students, assisting with clinical placements and student oversight, and participation in program activities and committees to ensure stated program goals are achieved.

Successful candidates will have a doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, DNSc, DrPH, EdD) from a recognized institution of higher education.
Minimum requirement: A minimum of two 2 years of practice experience and an active midwifery license and certification are required. The selected incumbent will have exemplary communication skills.
Preferred requirement: Previous experience as a clinical or didactic instructor is highly preferred.
