Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
The UPMC Divisions of Midwifery and Obstetrical Services are looking to hire a full-time certified nurse midwife to staff a busy obstetrical triage unit at UPMC – Magee Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a desire to work in a large, busy triage unit within a well-respected teaching facility. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with an interprofessional team of healthcare providers.

Work with an interprofessional team of midwives, physicians, advanced practices providers, and OB/Gyn residents responsible for evaluating term/preterm labor, common complications of pregnancy and preforming postpartum rounds.
Mentor, educate and clinically train residents and medical/CNM/APP students.
Opportunities available to expand scope of practice in obstetrical ultrasound, surgical first-assist, and circumcision.

Preferred candidate will have minimum of 3 year experience in triage or full scope midwifery.
Graduate of education program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
AMCB Certification and minimum of Master’s degree
Pennsylvania CNM license/eligible with Authorization to Prescribe, DEA
Computer skills are necessary
