Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Demonstrates expertise in the role of practitioner, consultant, educator, and health professional. Shares with their supervising physician and staff the responsibilities of providing and maintaining a quality, customer-focused, medically appropriate approach to patient assessment, care plan development, follow-up to outcomes, and cost-effective delivery of services. Provide compassionate care and support during labor, delivery and post partum period. The ability to see and evaluate all obstetrics patients both high and low risk in collaboration with physicians. Work closely and in a collaborative way with physicians and nurses to ensure a quality of care that is unsurpassable and is superior to care provided by the individual team members. Assist in all surgical cases OB and GYN instructions will be provided.
Master's Degree and WI RN license and Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) certification required. Must be certified as a midwife (CNM). Applicant must demonstrate accountability, flexibility, integrity, and good customer service. We are looking for a patient-centered individual who is a team player, compassionate, has a comforting manner, and shows commitment. Applicant must exhibit a passion about the career as a provider of health care to women of all ages, demonstrated by her willingness to do what is necessary to make not only the birth experience but also the entire pregnancy experience pleasant and at the same time ensure the safety of all patients the mother and the baby/babies.
