Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking experienced Certified Nurse Midwives to join its dedicated team of OB/GYN providers at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established group within the area’s premier multi-specialty obstetrics practice. Join a collaborative team alongside ten full-scope midwives and eleven OB/GYN physicians who handle approximately 1200 deliveries per year. As a member of this team, you will be able to provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care for women throughout their childbearing years and beyond. Responsibilities include routine OB/GYN outpatient care; collaborating with team members to improve care; providing call in hospital and by phone for OB, labor and birth management; and, after one year of employment, you can join our teaching team within our preceptor program.
The schedule for this opportunity consists of three office days and one 24-hour call shift per week with rotating weekends and holidays. The successful candidate should have current active and unrestricted RN and CNM licensures and AMCB certification. We are seeking an individual with at least two years’ experience within a full-scope midwife practice, but we are open to new graduates with excellent training. C-section and First Assist certification and training are ideal, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
