Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Join a team of 5 CNM's and 4 MD's offering full-scope midwifery and well woman care to a majority Hispanic population in metro Atlanta. We currently have two clinic locations in the Atlanta Metro Area. All beautiful facilities and well equipped. Deliveries at one of the finest hospital in the country. Northside Hospital delivers 14,000 babies per year at main campus. CIMA delivers 1000 babies per year, CIMA has delivered over 20,000 since 2002. All of our CNM's and clinic staff are bilingual. We pride ourselves on offering high quality, culturally respectful care, rooted in the community.
This is an opportunity to practice with a high degree of independence while working within a supportive team. CNM's provide prenatal care to all clients and attend all vaginal deliveries. Our MD's each have a high risk clinic, do C-sections with the CNM's as first assistants, and are always available for consultation or co-management as needed. You will have the opportunity to be involved with triage, management and follow-up of patients in all risk categories, and to expand your knowledge and skills set.
Our CNM's mentor Emory University nurse-midwifery students, and we are working with Emory School of Public Health students to refine our data collection tools.
CNM's average 50 hours/week combined call and clinic time. We usually do 12 hour call shifts Monday through Friday, with possibility of doing 24 hour calls on the weekends according to individual preferences or staffing needs. As we grow, we anticipate having a second call person in the hospital.
This is a stimulating, challenging, fast-paced opportunity, with a wonderful patient population, close-knit peer group of CNM's, supportive MD's and owners.
