Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
The Women’s Health Department at Cornell Scott Hill Health Center is looking to fill a weekday outpatient-only position for a PA, WHNP, or CNM. As part of our team, you will provide a balance of obstetric care (prenatal and postpartum only), gynecologic care (preventive and problem visits), and gynecologic procedures as desired. Our obstetric patients deliver with the Yale midwifery service at the Vidone Birth Center at Yale New Haven Hospital. Our patients also benefit from our full scope of gynecologic services – from well woman visits to major and minor gynecologic surgery, and everything in between. The Women’s Health Department is a close-knit team where we value the critical contributions of every member of our staff, and where our patients feel truly known and cared for.
The Cornell Scott Hill Health Center is a prominent community health center with sites throughout the greater New Haven area. In addition to comprehensive primary care, we provide numerous medical specialties (e.g. dermatology, neurology, rheumatology, and more), adult and pediatric dental services, and extensive behavioral health services with behavioral health providers embedded in our primary care sites. We work closely with our colleagues at Yale, and partner with numerous local organizations to enhance the health of our community.
Certification by appropriate professional board and eligibility for licensure in the State of Connecticut are required. Prior outpatient obstetric and gynecologic experience is strongly preferred, but we are willing to consider new graduates who are committed to staying in the New Haven area. Spanish language skills are helpful but not a must. Enthusiasm, compassion, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset are especially important.
If you think you might be a good fit, we look forward to hearing from you!

About Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center
In 1968, members of the New Haven community, including Mr. Cornell Scott, partnered with the Yale School of Medicine to establish Connecticut’s first Federally Qualified Community Health Center—Hill Health Center. In the decades since welcoming our first patient, the Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center, as we are now known, has been providing comprehensive, compassionate care to communities throughout Greater New Haven. Along the way, we have opened new care sites and expanded our services in order to meet the needs of the people we serve.Today, the Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center is proud to stand as a national leader in community healthcare, offering state-of-the-art and integrated care at over twenty care sites throughout New Haven County. We serve over 36,000 patients each year and work hard every day to continue the important work that Mr. Scott started, keeping close at mind his advocacy for community healthcare and his passion to meet the healthcare needs of the under-served.
