Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Join a growing group of Certified Nurse Midwives at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The hospital-based OB/GYN Core Faculty CNMs work in a supportive and stimulating team based care model with OB physicians and residents to provide safe, high quality, evidence-based care to patients in the OB Triage, Labor & Delivery (CNMs only), and Postpartum units at Butterworth Hospital.
Our CNMs participate in resident and medical student education to coordinate care for all patients of the service.
We are seeking CNMs who have a strong interest in working in an academic setting and are dedicated to education, enjoy working in teams, and are comfortable in high volume, high acuity units. Spectrum Health is a highly reliable organization with a strong emphasis on a culture of safety.
Our ideal candidates would possess:
2+ years experience
Core Midwifery skills
Ability to function professionally while providing indivialized care

Experience as a CNM in full-scope practice
* Masters degree from an accredited nurse-midwifery or nurse practitioner program
* Nurse Midwife, Licensed (MIDWIFE) by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
* Active RN license in Michigan
* Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) SHMG: Required within 120 days
* Preferred experience:
