Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in South Carolina, is seeking 2 Certified Nurse Midwives to join our growing team in the beautiful Upstate of SC.

Greenville Midwifery Care has been in practice for 9 years with very little turnover and lots of growth. Providing care for primarily low risk healthy women during the prenatal, labor, birth, and postpartum period. Our Midwives also enjoy a robust practice of GYN only clientele. Greenville Midwifery Care births occur at a tertiary care hospital, Greenville Memorial Hospital, and includes supportive in-house physicians that can be called as needed for assistance. Greenville Midwifery Care practices evidence-based care and provides low interventions and watchful waiting whenever possible.

Our Midwife team is proud of our 11% primary c-section rate, 85% VBAC success rate, and a low 40% epidural rate. They do offer vbac and water birth options to our mothers that qualify.

We have a great thing going and are looking for like-minded midwives to help us continue to provide the same excellent care we have all these years.

Additionally, we host 19 residency and fellowship programs and a 4-year medical education program: University of South Carolina School of Medicine–Greenville, located on Greenville Memorial Medical Campus. We are a designated Level I Emergency Trauma Center and also have a separate research facility.
