Certified Nurse Midwife

Chambersburg Pennsylvania!

WellSpan Women’s Practice is looking for a certified nurse midwife to join their practice in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The nurse midwife will be joining a multidisciplinary OB/GYN group consisting of OB/GYN physicians, certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. This community practice serves Franklin County, and surrounding areas. Our strategy has been team-based and strongly focused on safety, value, innovation, and integration within our health system.  

Position Highlights:  

• Collaborate with physicians, other certified Nurse Midwives, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners 
• Perform Deliveries at Chambersburg Hospital with a Level 2 NICU 
• Full scope obstetric and gynecological care for women, including procedures and biopsies.
• Opportunity to Participate in Community, Staff, and Patient Education
• Enjoy a Practice that Co-Manages High Risk and Complicated OB/GYN patients 
• In-House First Call responsibilities include: management of labor, obstetric triage and postpartum, first assist with C-sections, coverage of on-call physician office schedule as needed and consultations (ED/floor) as appropriate.

Work schedule  

• Average of 44 hours/week (including call shifts and outpatient clinic days.)  
• 2 outpatient office days per week 
• 1:6 In-House 24hr call (day off after each shift)
