Apple Tree Midwifery & Birth Center is a new facility with two midwives looking to add another when we open in May 2021. We are seeking a midwife who enjoys attending out-of-hospital birth and is passionate about this model of care.
We are lucky to work with a compassionate collaborating physician who embraces and is supportive of the midwifery model of care.
1 or more years practicing as a CNM, previous birth center experience preferred
Ability to work independently as well as be a team player
Current AMCB certification.
Current South Dakota Advanced Practice Nursing License (or ability to obtain one)
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program and BLS certification
Passion for evidence-based, family-centered care.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
