Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
The Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has an opening for a 1.0 full-time faculty at the rank of Clinical Instructor or above for a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) to provide outpatient clinical care in obstetrics and gynecology as a member of the University’s Women Care practice. There will be future opportunities to staff the OB Inpatient Labor and Delivery and post-partum unit, and the OB Emergency Department gynecologic service as the needs are warranted. Inpatient labor and delivery services will be delivered as part of an interprofessional education program with the CNM leading a group of learners. Outpatient duties include primarily OB care, annual visits, and low-risk gynecologic care including contraception. The applicant must understand that OB outpatient care is the current primary responsibility. This job involves the education of advanced practice provider and medical students and may include resident education in the future.
Salary and academic rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
