This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Learn more The Clinical Nurse Manager of the Community Living Center (CLC) unit is responsible to support Resident Centered Care and create an environment that maximizes functional status of residents of the care area. The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) is responsible as a Nursing Leader in the management and oversight of Clinical Care and Operations that will facilitate safe and efficient care delivery and nursing practice. -The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) manages administrative and clinical operations, clinical care delivery at the unit level. -Assumes 24-hour accountability for management, supervision, and evaluation of care delivered by nursing staff and other allied health care staff assigned under nursing service for that designated area. -CNM will effectively collaborate with other CNM, assistant CNM and support teams to create a positive work environment which enhances care delivery and professional development of clinically competent staff. -Functions as a manager and supervisor and assumes accountability for clinical operations within the Community Living Center unit or units.
