The OHSU Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology - Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks full-time, qualified Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) specializing in General Obstetrics and Gynecology to join their full scope practice in the Portland, Oregon metro area. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. These positions are desired to start as soon as possible.
These positions will hold the academic rank of Instructor, and will provide obstetric care, as well as basic gynecologic care, at the OHSU Center for Women’s Health and the Hillsboro Medical Center and other OHSU clinical locations. This is primarily an ambulatory position with other clinical duties including office ultrasound. This position potentially includes postpartum rounding on the inpatient Mother-Baby unit.
The CNM is a critical component of the group practice model and will support all established obstetrical practices with care of ambulatory of a busy academic general OBGYN practice. This position will also work in conjunction with team members as need arises, including General ObGyn, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecology, Family Planning, and other advanced practice providers. Clinical responsibilities will include participation in the development and delivery of the group clinical practice, with clinical care provided at the Center for Women’s Health and OHSU Partners facilities, including Hillsboro Medical Center.

The successful applicant will have:
Independent experience necessary to provide a full-scope practice
A demonstrated ability to work with a team of health care providers and collaborate to achieve patient care goals
Experience working in an interdisciplinary setting and the communication skills and ability to collaborate with other clinicians in the work unit
CNM eligible for licensure within the state of Oregon
At least 5 years clinical experience as a CNM that demonstrates ability to fulfill responsibilities for Women's Health experience (both Ob and Gyn).
