This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Learn more The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is to perform all assigned duties in an independent and clinically responsible manner that promotes quality health care, positive customer service, and supports all efforts to maintain an environment committed to serving the Veteran. The LPN is aligned under Ambulatory Care Services and will be assigned to various Sub-Specialty Clinics. This is a float position with the official duty station designated as the Ann Arbor VAMC. To support overall health care delivery efforts of the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS), the LPN may be assigned to one or more clinical areas within the medical center, community-based outpatient clinic (CBOC), and/or offsite ancillary clinic to perform clinical roles, within the scope of their practice, when determined clinically necessary and appropriate. Some of the areas/clinics the incumbent would typically be assigned to, but are not limited to, Hematology/Oncology (Hem/Onc), Integrative Pain, PM&R (Pain Management & Rehabilitation), Women's Health, Infectious Disease, Pulmonary, Neurology, Arthritis, Gastrointestinal (G.I.), and Renal.
