The Harbin Clinic is actively seeking to employ a highly motivated Certified Nurse Midwife to join our Women’s Health team in Cartersville.

Scope of practice in this position will include:

Office based clinic, hospital rounds, deliveries, first assist in C-sections, post partum checks, well visits, health maintenance checks, etc.

Schedule is as follows:

Monday through Friday with one post call day off per week and alternating half day Fridays.  Office Clinic schedule is typically 8 hour days but must be flexible when unexpected staffing needs arise and to assist with work-in patients for emergency needs.

When covering for another provider on vacation or out of the office, will require working 8 am to 4 pm in office on post call day and there will be no alternating half day Friday.

Rotation of 1:3 weekday call and every fifth weekend/holiday rotation

Must live within 20 minutes of Cartersville Medical Center to meet call response requirements or be willing to relocate for the position.

Position offers the opportunity to become a part of the Women’s Health provider team to diagnosis and treat an established patient population while helping to meet growing practice demands and improve patient access to care.

Working within a state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Record environment provides ease of access to patient health history and optimizes the delivery of quality care to our patients.

Ability to effectively build and manage relationships with our patient community and the Women’s Health care team is critical to the success of our practice.

Must be able to work within the scope of practice guidelines and appropriately direct patients for follow-up care as their healthcare needs dictate.

Must be licensed as a CNM in the State of GA or license eligible.

Qualified candidates should present with previous experience as a CNM in a Women’s Health work setting to include some or all of the above required functions (new graduates with recent clinical practicum experience included) and professional references that reflect a high level of professionalism and proven clinical excellence in the delivery of care.
