Independent, midwife-owned, full-scope practice in Southwest Colorado looking for a part-time (0.7 FTE) CNM. We attend births at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango, including water birth and VBACs. We offer the opportunity to practice the midwifery model of care, including shared decision-making, with our families. The schedule allows for a good work/life balance, with on average 7 call days/month. Call shifts are 24 hours during weekdays (or a 72 hour weekend shift once a month) and include coverage of clinic and L&D at the same time. We average around 15-25 births/month. Our patient population is mixed risk, and we have a consulting relationship with the OB practice next door. The right candidate will feel comfortable in a rural setting (OB/anesthesia coverage not in-house 24/7)
