DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY Responsible for providing research-based education, assistance, and support to breastfeeding mothers and infants in the Lactation Center through in-person visits, phone consultations, or on an outpatient basis. Provides appropriate follow-up assistance as needed. Helps coordinate with physicians and Women's Services to assure continuity of care. Assists in staff training to ensure accurate and consistent information is disseminated to all Associates as applicable. Teaches breastfeeding classes as needed. Coordinates breast pump rental and retail services.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS· High school diploma or GED required· Associates or higher degree preferred· Excellent communication
