Exciting Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in the Beautiful Pacific Northwest
The practice provides the full spectrum of MFM services to our flagship hospital, Swedish Medical Center-First Hill, and provides ultrasound and consultative services to our affiliated locations at Everett and Issaquah, two beautiful suburbs within 30 miles of downtown Seattle.
The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner is responsible for full obstetric care in our Swedish First Hill practice which includes prenatal and postpartum care of complex pregnancies. Our patients are referred for hypertension, diabetes, medical complications, fetal anomalies, and any other complication. Nurse practitioners are responsible for triage visits, wound care, and routine visits of full care patients, as well as follow up consultations from the outside community. Hospital postpartum rounds are part of the daily routine and on weekends at the First Hill practice. Nurse practitioners cover our satellite practices in Everett and Issaquah, where they are responsible for patient continuity, follow up consultations, referral triage, and antenatal testing. This position does not have any night or weekend call.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong background in OB care as well as an interest in high risk and critical care. Experience with prenatal diagnosis, interpretation of ultrasound reports, and complicated pregnancy is a plus.

There is a strong emphasis on teaching and outreach education. Research is encouraged and supported with an in-house Center for Perinatal Studies and Obstetrix sponsored trials.
Seattle, Everett, and Issaquah are located in the greater Puget Sound, a location that offers unparalleled natural beauty, and opportunities to golf, sail, ski, kayak, camp and hike, as well as urban pleasures like world-class restaurants, stylish shopping, luxurious hotels and vibrant nightlife, including, of course, an always-evolving live music scene.
