The practice provides the full spectrum of MFM services to our flagship hospital, Swedish Medical Center-First Hill, and provides ultrasound and consultative services to our affiliated locations at Everett and Issaquah, two beautiful suburbs within 30 miles of downtown Seattle.
The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner is responsible for full obstetric care in our Swedish First Hill practice which includes prenatal and postpartum care of complex pregnancies. Our patients are referred for hypertension, diabetes, medical complications, fetal anomalies, and any other complication. Nurse practitioners are responsible for triage visits, wound care, and routine visits of full care patients, as well as follow up consultations from the outside community. There is a strong emphasis on teaching and outreach education. Research is encouraged and supported with an in-house Center for Perinatal Studies and Obstetrix sponsored trials.
