WellSpan Health, an eight-hospital health system serving the communities of central Pennsylvania, is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse-Midwife to join their practice in Gettysburg, PA.  The nurse-midwife will be joining a multidisciplinary OB/GYN group consisting of OB/GYN physicians, certified nurse-midwives, and APP’s. This community practice serves Adams County and surrounding areas. About the Opportunity

• Full-time, full-scope position; 40 hours a week with one 24-hour call and 2 office days; On-Call off-site within 30 minutes of Gettysburg Hospital
• Practice handles 400-500 births a year
• Site director in Gettysburg is a midwife and WellSpan has a midwifery leadership structure in place system-wide
• Deliveries at Gettysburg Hospital, a community hospital with a maternity center.  Birthing unit has long standing culture of support and CNM autonomy for our many low-risk, unmedicated spontaneous labors
• Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply, as approximately 1/3 of our patients are Spanish speaking
• BIPOC encouraged to apply - we have providers of color in Gettysburg as well as regional and WellSpan-wide leadership team with people of color.
