The MetroHealth System Case Western Reserve University Certified Nurse Midwife
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology of the MetroHealth System is seeking an academically oriented Certified Nurse Midwife to join our division of 20 general ist ObGyn physicians, along with our team of 11 subspecialists, 20 residents, 10 fellows and 8 Advanced Practice Providers. This position includes an academic appointment in the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing - Case Western Reserve University, with effort committed to preclinical and clinical teaching within the school’s Midwifery program. This individual will work collaboratively with medical faculty of the Departments of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Family Medicine, and will also participate in the clinical education of medical trainees.
Applicants must hold a graduate degree in midwifery, hold current certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board, and be capable of offering full-scope midwifery care. A successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal and clinical skills. Fluency in Spanish is desirable, and interest in continuous quality improvement and nursing research will be considered an asset. Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The salary is competitive.
