JFK Memorial Hospital has provided medical care to residents in the Coachella Valley since 1966. A group of physicians, including Dr. Reynaldo Carreon, founded the hospital and today one of JFK�s cross streets is named in his honor.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The professional nurse on the Surgical Tower Unit uses the nursing process to plan, implement, evaluate and document patient care. The professional nurse considers the patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, language barriers, age, teaching needs, and readiness to learn. The professional nurse demonstrates knowledge of EKG monitoring and treatment of hypotension and dysrhythmias. The professional nurse demonstrates knowledge of commonly used medications and possesses skill in calculating medications and fluid dosages. The professional nurse follows the hospital chest pain protocol. The professional nurse demonstrates knowledge of physiologic changes and common complications associated with specific disease states.

Pay Range: $1.00 - $100.00 Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employee�s qualifications and experience.
