Dukes is located in Peru, IN along the historic Wabash River. Peru, known as the Circus Capital of the World, offers substantially lower cost of living, an established school system with advanced student curriculum, affordable housing varieties, recreational lake activities, live performing theaters, museums, state parks, and hiking trails. Peru is just 1 hour from Indianapolis, 2.5 hours from Chicago, and 50 minutes from Fort Wayne.
Dukes Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed critical access hospital that provides inpatient and outpatient care. Accredited by the Joint Commission and part of the Lutheran Health Network, a variety of services are offered including diagnostic imaging such as MRI, CT, and Nuclear, medical and surgical care, women’s obstetrical center, sleep lab, full-service laboratory, and 24 –hour emergency care. Dukes is also an accredited chest pain and stroke center, in addition to a full scope of other medical care expertise within the Lutheran Health Network.
