Providence Saint John's Health Center has an exciting leadership opportunity available for a physician assistant to join its Women's Health team as a Clinical Program Coordinator in Santa Monica, California. This role involves Gynecologic Surgery responsibilities as well as functions as a strategic partner to the administrative team of the Women's Health and Wellness Institute that's currently focused on the growth and success of the Pelvic Health Program. This program also supports gynecologic oncology, urologic gynecology, gynecologic surgery, and pelvic health support services. You can also expect to provide direct patient care services in both an inpatient and outpatient setting under the direction of the supervising physician. - Act as first or second assistant in surgery under the supervision of approved supervising physicians.
- Assist supervising physician with inpatient and outpatient hospital patients with rounding, initial assessment, and documentation in the medical record, dictation of discharge summary, clarifying treatment or discharge plan.
- Collaborate with physicians and providers within the pelvic health program (gynecologic oncology, urologic gynecology, urology, physical therapy, etc) on treatment plans.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Women's Health and Wellness Institute leadership team or CNO
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a PA in an ambulatory care setting, 4+ years preferred
- 1 year of experience in a leadership role preferred
- Compensation between $71.64 and $89.85 per hour
- The compensation amounts listed are total compensation based on a 1.0 FTE and may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
