Providence Mother and Baby Clinics is seeking an On-Call Certified Nurse Midwife or Family Nurse Practitioner to join their skilled and compassionate team of Lactation Consultants. In this role you will serve recently delivered mother/baby couplets during the postpartum period in a lactation focused outpatient practice. You will work closely with pediatricians and OB/GYN providers to provide post discharge follow up of both mother and infant with ongoing lactation support for families who elect to breastfeed. This on-call position requires a minimum commitment of 4 days per month including 1 full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) monthly, and coverage of one summer and one winter holiday required. There is no after-hours call. The Lactation Consultants provide coverage at Providence Portlan
