UNC YBH is a newly established and innovative 50 plus patient child and adolescent psychiatric hospital with four individual specialized units serving the children and families. This facility and its staff are funded by a contract between the State and UNC Department of Psychiatry. The APP NPs will evaluate and manage medical conditions that may arise in youth who are hospitalized for psychiatric purposes. Examples
