The DIO develops and implements strategies for continued GME excellence, is responsible for the oversight and ongoing accreditation of 4 residency programs in Oregon (2 FM, 2 IM), and for ensuring compliance with all institutional and program requirements for the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
