The Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Nurse Midwife, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to join its team. The selected candidate will provide care to low to moderate risk obstetrical and gynecological patients in collaboration with Memorial Regional Hospital’s High Risk OB team. Responsibilities will also include managing patients in the Obstetrics Emergency Department. The preferred candidate will have clinical experience in an inpatient obstetric setting. Candidates must have a national Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Certification or must have a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or Master’s equivalent) from an ARC-PA accredited program and possess a Physician Assistant Certification. A BLS, ACLS, and NRP from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, and a Florida license must be obtained by date of hire.
Schedule requirements are four, 10-hour nocturnal shifts. This is a full-time employed position that offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
