Join the cohesive team of women's health providers as an OB Laborist at Indiana University Health.  We are seeking a 0.8 FTE OB laborist to provide coverage at the Indiana suburb community hospitals, IU Health West in Avon and IU North in Carmel. 

For candidates interested in supplemental, we also have PRN positions to cover vacations and leave of absence. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Laborist coverage, schedule includes both hospital locations
• Provide intrapartum, antepartum and postpartum care 
• Obstetric ED coverage
• Procedures include:
  • Deliveries
  • C-sections
  • D&C

Position Details:

• .8 FTE qualifies for comprehensive benefits provided by IU Health Physicians Medical Group
• 12 or 24 hour shifts
• 100% clinical, inpatient work
• Supportive team and administration  

Qualifications

• Completion of OB/GYN residency
• BE/BC in OB/GYN
• Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
