Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of the Carolinas, is looking for a Full-Time Certified Nurse Midwife to join their Women's Health Care Center in Chapel Hill, NC. Join a growing, collaborative group of physicians, certified nurse midwives, and women’s health nurse practitioners who provide a team approach to patient care within a supportive practice culture.
Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) will be responsible for full-scope practice including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and well-woman care. Shared 24/7 hospital coverage with our sister Unified practice in Durham. Will consider a candidate with minimum 3 years’ experience to work as hospital only nocturnist.
Position Highlights:
Join an established and successful private practice that has served the Triangle area for over 50 years.
The practice team includes 6 physicians, 5 CNM’s, 3 nurse practitioners along with a great support staff.
Office locations in Chapel Hill and Durham, Delivering hospital: Duke Regional Hospital
CNM's work 4-day work week, typically 2 clinics and 2 12-hour hospital shifts with day/night rotation, with some variation to cover vacations.

Requirements:
AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation
Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
Master's degree in nursing (MS/MSN)
Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
2 years of full-time Labor & Delivery experience necessary for new graduate applicants
