About Us Northwest Women’s Care is a growing and compassionate obstetric and gynecology practice providing exceptional care for women at all stages of life. Conveniently located across the street from Banner Del Webb Labor and Delivery and Medical Center, we are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team. In this provider-level role, the Certified Nurse Midwife(CNM) will work closely with physicians to provide both in-office patient care and hospital-based delivery services.
Established in 2019 and steadily growing, our team currently includes 2 front office staff, 2 medical assistants, and 2 providers (DO & PA-C). We specialize in routine women’s health, gynecologic concerns, and pregnancy care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care to obstetric and gynecology patients, including routine prenatal visits, gynecologic exams, contraceptive counseling, and postpartum care.
Assist physicians with labor and delivery, including independently managing low-risk deliveries at Banner Del Webb Medical Center.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patient care, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Collaborate with the care team to develop individualized care plans for patients.
Provide patient education on prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum recovery.
Maintain hospital credentials and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures for labor and delivery services.
Participate in call coverage to support labor and delivery needs.
Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Elation EMR.
Requirements
Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with current and unrestricted licensure in Arizona.
Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife, including experience managing deliveries.
Current credentials or eligibility to obtain privileges at Banner Del Webb Medical Center.
Strong knowledge of obstetric emergencies, fetal monitoring, and labor management techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster strong relationships with patients and the care team.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Hours
Full-time position with a mix of office-based and hospital-based responsibilities.
Office hours are Monday–Thursday (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM) and Friday (8:00 AM – 2:00 PM).
