We have an exciting Ambulatory Triage RN nursing opportunity with our IUHealth OB/GYN Muncie Clinic. In this role, the RN will deliver direct/indirect care such as non-stress tests, IV hydration, patient education and prenatal interviews, scheduling, assisting with in office procedures and telephone triage. This individual will also maintain a collaborative relationship with the providers to achieve desired patient outcomes. Knowledge of OB and Women's Health is strongly preferred.

Schedule: Mon-Thurs 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and 8:00 am - 4:00 pm on Fridays | 5 days per week

No weekends! No Holidays!

• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
• Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
• Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
• Requires ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
