Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an Obstetrics and GynecologyHospitalist with greater than three years of experience to join our growingteam in a quaternary care center with a strong referral base. Candidates musthave training from an ACGME-accredited institution, be an ABOG activecandidate or ABOG Board Certified Diplomate (Board Certified Diplomatepreferred).
The incumbent will collaborate with community physicians to ensure thatpatients presenting to the hospital are afforded high-quality care ranging fromroutine obstetrical and gynecologic services to high-risk procedures with thesupport of a multidisciplinary team of midwives, maternal fetal medicinespecialists, and neonatologists. The ideal candidate should possess extensiveexperience managing high acuity/high-risk cases and complex conditions.Responsibilities include labor floor, postpartum maternity, ED, triage, inpatientconsults, emergent and elective gynecologic surgeries, and outpatient care.This is a hybrid, hospital-based practice with an average of 178 monthlyclinical hours. Successful candidates will be required to do a combination ofthree to four 8-hour office sessions, 24-hour inpatient shifts or 16-hourinpatient shifts, respectively. Candidates with an interest and passion forteaching and quality improvement are preferred, as involvement withMemorial?s ACGME-accredited OBGYN Residency Program will be stronglyencouraged. Ample resources for academic pursuits, spanning from clinicalresearch through to basic science investigation, via affiliations with nearbyuniversities are available.
