The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, provides comprehensive, patient centered care to women across the lifespan, supporting the attainment and maintenance of optimal health for individuals with essentially normal pregnancies and gynecologic needs. This role encompasses antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, as well as gynecologic services, health maintenance, and management of minor acute illnesses.
