IU Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified OB Laborist to join our established inpatient obstetric care team. This role provides comprehensive inpatient obstetric services, manages antepartum and postpartum patients, supports certified nurse midwives, and responds to obstetric emergencies within a well-equipped, collegial, and well-supported environment.

Position Highlights
Part-time (0.8 FTE) OB Laborist role with 24-hour shifts at IU Health West and IU Health North
Provide intrapartum, antepartum, and postpartum inpatient obstetric care
Obstetric ED coverage
Procedures include: deliveries, cesarean sections, and D&C
IU North (Carmel): Level III NICU with MFM support; high-risk patients transported to Riley Children’s Maternity Tower Level IV NICU
IU West (Avon): Level II NICU supporting a high-volume suburban maternity service
100% clinical, inpatient role
Supportive, collaborative provider group and administration with an experienced L&D clinical team

MD/DO from an accredited institution
Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
