JOB DESCRIPTION - ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER (APP) Per Diem - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - OB/GYN

The Advanced Practice Nurse assumes responsibility for advanced nursing practice within a clinical specialty.

In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.

The Advanced Practice Nurse serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary
health care team in the inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

Seeking an experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Midwife with at least 5 years' experience to work in our labor and delivery triage unit per diem. Will also consider a Physician's Assistant with OB/Gyn experience.

Master’s Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant degree is required.

New Jersey License: APN and RN or PA

American Heart Association BLS 

Certification: NCCPA

Scheduled Days / Hours: Per Diem - as needed; varies
